I want to be part of the Finbar Loyalty Club. How do I join?
A.

Subject to complying with the Loyalty Club terms and conditions, if you have previously purchased from Finbar, or have signed a contract of sale with Finbar to purchase a Finbar Property, you will automatically become a Member of the new Loyalty Club. To ensure you receive the newsletters and Member special please ensure your contact details  are up to date. 

What is the Finbar Loyalty Club
A.

The Finbar Loyalty Club has been designed to reward buyers who purchase Finbar Property from Finbar. The Loyalty Club is also intended to reward Members who refer other people to purchase Finbar Property as well as providing discounts to Members who purchase another Finbar Property from Finbar. From time to time, the club will also make other rewards, offers and vouchers available to Members.

How can I update my contact details?
A.

Simply complete and return this form or send an email to loyaltyclub@finbar.com.au to advise your current contact details. Please be sure to include your full name and details of the Finbar Property you purchased, or have contracted to purchase to ensure we can find you in our database.

What are the benefits of Membership to the Finbar Loyalty Club
A.

Members may be entitled to a discount Rebate off their purchase of a second and subsequent Finbar Property, Referral Fees where they refer someone who purchases a Finbar Property, rewards, offers and discounts from Participating Partners and access to the Loyalty Club Lounge.

What is the Rebate?
A.

The Rebate is a discount off the purchase price for each second and subsequent purchase of a Finbar Property from Finbar.

Can I get a Rebate on my first purchase of a Finbar Property?
A.

No. There is no Rebate the first time you purchase a Finbar Property. The entitlement to a Rebate only applies if you already own a Finbar Property, having purchased it from Finbar, and then purchase another Finbar Property. 

I am looking to buy another Finbar Property. If I am a Member, will I be entitled to a discount?
A.

Yes. If you purchased your first property from Finbar, you may qualify for a discount of any second and subsequent property you purchase from Finbar in one of its developments. In order to be entitled to a Rebate, a Rebate Schedule must be included in your second and each subsequent contract of sale for a Finbar Property. If the Rebate Schedule is not included in your second and each subsequent contract of sale for a Finbar Property, you will not be entitled to the Rebate.

If I qualify for a discount Rebate, how much will it be, and when will I receive it?
A.

If you qualify, the Rebate will be a 1% discount on the purchase price of your next purchase of a Finbar Property. The Rebate will apply to your purchase of another Finbar Property and will be credited to you at settlement. 

Is there a limit to how many purchase discount Rebates I can receive?
A.

No. If you qualify, you can receive the Rebate at each settlement of your purchase of a second and subsequent Finbar Property from Finbar.

What if I own a commercial unit in a Finbar development and purchase an apartment. Can I receive the discount Rebate when I purchase my apartment?
A.

Yes. Provided you purchased the commercial unit from Finbar, and purchase your apartment from Finbar or its selling agent, you will be entitled to the discount Rebate. The same applies if you purchased an apartment from Finbar and purchase a commercial lot from Finbar; you will be entitled to the discount Rebate at settlement of the commercial unit.

What if I buy a Finbar Property from a Member who has already contracted to purchase the property from Finbar. Will I be entitled to the Rebate?
A.

No. Only the Member who purchases from Finbar is entitled to the Rebate. The Rebate will not apply to any on-sale of the property to you. The Rebate cannot be assigned and is not transferrable.

Will I receive the discount Rebate if I purchase another property with someone who is not a past Finbar buyer or a Loyalty Club Member?
A.

Yes. You will still be eligible for a Rebate on the purchase of your second and subsequent property, so long as one purchaser is a Loyalty Club Member. 

What if I purchase 2 Finbar properties at the same time; will I be able to take advantage of the discount Rebate?
A.

Yes. The Rebate will apply to the second contract of sale signed for one of the properties you purchase provided it contains a Rebate Schedule. However if you do not settle your purchase of the first property under the first contract of sale, the Rebate will not apply to your purchase of the second property.

I own a Finbar Property but did not purchase it from Finbar or its appointed selling agent. If I buy another Finbar Property from Finbar or its appointed selling agent can I take advantage of the purchase discount Rebate?
A.

No. The Loyalty Club is open to people who purchase a Finbar Property from Finbar, who have previously purchased a Finbar Property from Finbar, or who have contracted to purchase a Finbar Property from Finbar. If you purchased a Finbar Property from someone else, you will not be a Member or entitled to the Rebate.

How do I make my next Finbar Property purchase through the Finbar Loyalty Club?
A.

Our executive Member relations can meet with you in the comfort of our club lounge, and assist you with making your next purchase. Alternatively, you can meet with any of our appointed selling agents to discuss the purchase of your next Finbar Property. Simply mention you are a Loyalty Club Member to ensure you are able to take advantage of the Rebate as part of your next purchase. It will be necessary for your next contract of sale to contain the Rebate Schedule. 

Can I transfer the Rebate to another person, including my children, friends or family Members?
A.

No. The Rebate is for Loyalty Club Members only and is not transferrable. However you may be eligible for a Referral Fee if you refer someone else who has not previously purchased a Finbar Property or been referred to Finbar and they purchase a Finbar Property. 

How can I find out more about Finbar's developments so I can take advantage of the Rebate?
A.

Another benefit of being part of the Finbar Loyalty Club is that you will have access to the Finbar Loyalty Club lounge where you can view all of Finbar’s developments and make a decision on which property best suits you. You can also speak with any of Finbar's appointed selling agents about purchasing another Finbar Property and taking advantage of the Rebate.

I have signed a contract with Finbar and already own another Finbar Property, having purchased it from Finbar. Am I entitled to a discount Rebate?
A.

No. The Rebate only applies to contracts of sale entered into with Finbar after the Loyal Club commencement date; 23 October 2015.

What is the Referral Fee?
A.

The Referral Fee is a fee paid by Finbar if a Member refers someone to Finbar or its appointed selling agent and that person buys a Finbar Property from Finbar.

How much is the Referral Fee?
A.

1% of the purchase price of the Finbar Property purchased by the person you refer.

If I am a Member, do I need to do anything to qualify for the Referral Fee?
A.

Yes. it is important you complete and return the Referral Form or contact loyaltyclub@finbar.com.au to register the person you are referring. You can, however, provide us with their contact details by email.  Finbar must have these details before the person you want to refer signs their contract of sale, otherwise you will not be entitled to the Referral Fee. It is also important that a Referral Schedule be included in the contract of sale signed by the person you refer. If either of these requirements are not satisfied, you will not be entitled to the Referral Fee.

I own a Finbar Property but did not purchase it from Finbar. I want to refer someone to purchase a Finbar Property. Will I be able to receive a Referral Fee?
A.

No. The Referral Fee is only available to people who have purchased a Finbar Property from Finbar. 

I am happy with my Finbar Property and would like to refer someone who may be interested in purchasing a Finbar Property, will I receive a referral fee?
A.

Yes. Finbar values its purchasers and is pleased to extend you the Referral Fee if the person you refer buys a Finbar Property. The Referral Fee will only be awarded where you refer someone who has not previously enquired about a Finbar development or previously purchased a Finbar Property. 

How will the Referral Fee be paid to me?
A.

The Referral Fee will be paid in two parts via a cheque to the Loyalty Club Member.  $2,000 will be paid once the person being referred successfully pays their deposit or provides a bank guarantee under their contract of sale and the balance will then be paid within 14 business days of settlement of the property purchased by the person referred.  Therefore it is important to ensure your contact details and postal address are up to date at all times.

What if the person I refer does not complete settlement?
A.

You will not be entitled to the Referral Fee. If Finbar has paid you $2,000 after the person referred has paid their deposit but does not complete settlement, you will be required to repay the $2,000 to Finbar.

Is there a limit to how many people you can refer?
A.

No. You can refer as many people as you like  However, the Referral Fee is for new enquiries and purchases only. Provided that you provide Finbar with the relevant contact details of the person you are referring and that person signs a contract which contains a referral schedule you will be entitled to the Referral Fee. 

Is there a time limit from when I refer someone to when they sign a contract, in order to be eligible for the Referral Fee?
A.

Yes. We understand purchasing property is an important decision that should not be rushed. You are still eligible to receive the Referral Fee up to (6) six months from when you refer someone if Finbar signs a contact of sale with this period. No Referral Fee will be paid if the contract is not signed by Finbar within six (6) months of the referral. 

I referred someone before the Loyal Club was introduced. Am I entitled to a Referral Fee?
A.

No. The Referral Fee is only payable when someone is referred after the Loyal Club commencement date; 23 October 2015.

What other Rewards and Offers are available?
A.

From time to time, Finbar may issue Members notice or vouchers which may entitle them to take advantage of offer by Participating Partners who supply goods and services.  Any rewards, offers or vouchers will be governed by the Terms and Conditions of the Loyalty Club and any other terms and conditions imposed by the retailer in accordance with the offer.

How do I receive any other rewards?
A.

All rewards, discounts or vouchers will be notified or sent to the email address provided when you originally purchased your Finbar Property, unless otherwise advised.  It is important to ensure you keep contact details up to date. If you don’t receive any vouchers we recommend you check your spam filter and add loyaltyclub@finbar.com.au to your safe sender list. 

Do the rewards, offers and vouchers have conditions or an expiry date?
A.

Yes, some offers may have an expiry date for use or redemption. All vouchers will be different and other terms and conditions may also apply to how they may be redeemed or used.  Please refer to the actual voucher or the email you received for further details. Please contact the Participating Partner should you have further questions. 

Which retailers are participating in the Finbar Loyalty Club?
A.
