John Chan
BSc, MBA, MAICD
A founding leader and long-standing Director since 1995,
John has played a pivotol role in shaping Finbar's trategic direction and growth for more than three decades. He was instrumental in the successful re-listing of Finbar on the ASX and, since becoming Exectuive Chair in 2010, has guided the company through sustained expansion to ecome Western Australia's leading apartment developer. In 2026, John transitioned to Non-Executive Chair and is focusing on leading the Board and supporting management through strategy oversight and long-term value creation.
Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer
Ronald Chan​​
Executive Director since February 2017 and Chief Executive Officer since June 2025.
Ronald commenced his career with Finbar in January 2004, building a tenure that now spans more than 22 years, representing over half of the company’s history as a property developer.
With more than two decades of dedicated service, Ronald has developed deep institutional knowledge and leadership experience within the organisation. Throughout his career, he has played a pivotal role in shaping Finbar’s growth, leading the delivery of key developments across Western Australia and advancing the company’s commitment to providing well-located, high-quality apartments for the Perth community.
Executive Director/Chief Operating Officer
​Melissa Chan
B COMM, CA
Appointed Executive Director in 2026 and Chief Operating Officer in 2025, Melissa is responsible for overall operational leadership and execution of corporate strategy at Finbar. Melissa is a Chartered Accountant with more than 25 years of professional experience, including 19 years specialising in the real estate sector. Her expertise spans land acquisition and origination, large-scale property development, urban regeneration, and investment activities across Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

Eldon Wan

Eldon Wan joined the Board in January 2023. He has over 25 years’ experience in the finance and accounting sectors. He has accumulated industry experience in mergers and acquisitions, financial and management reporting, treasury as well as corporate governance and risk management matters. He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant of Singapore.

Terence Siong Woon Peh

Director since 24 April 2018
Mr Peh Siong Woon Terence is the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Chuan Hup. As Chief Executive Officer, he is responsible for the day-to-day running of the business and for the overall performance of the Group. Appointed on 1 November 2005, Mr Peh has over 20 years of experience in property development investment and project management in Asia Pacific.
