A significant milestone was reached over the weekend as we officially marked the commencement of construction at Romeo Applecross with a Turning of the Soil ceremony, bringing together buyers, project partners and stakeholders to celebrate the beginning of the development's next chapter.

As the third and final stage of Finbar's Applecross precinct, Romeo represents the culmination of a vision that has transformed apartment living in one of Perth's most sought-after riverside suburbs. Following the successful delivery of Sabina and Aurora, Romeo will complete a vibrant and connected community that continues to elevate the lifestyle offering in Applecross.

The ceremony provided an opportunity for future residents to come together, meet the team behind the project and celebrate the progress being made towards bringing their new homes to life. The excitement was evident as buyers gathered on-site to witness the official start of construction and reflect on what lies ahead.

Finbar CEO, Ronald Chan, acknowledged the significance of the project for both the Applecross community and the precinct as a whole:

Today is an important milestone for us. Our joint venture has created a precinct which will amount to about 800 people in this area. This is a really great increase of the population and amenities in the area. Finbar, as well as our joint venture partner, is very proud of that.

Romeo is set to deliver 152 thoughtfully designed residences, comprising a collection of one, two and three-bedroom apartments that blend luxury, functionality and contemporary design. The development has already generated strong interest from buyers, with 65% of residences sold since launch, demonstrating continued demand for quality apartment living in Applecross.

More than just a residential development, Romeo represents the final piece of a carefully considered precinct that has evolved over several years. Together, Sabina, Aurora and Romeo form a cohesive community that offers residents exceptional amenity, connectivity and lifestyle opportunities within a prime riverside location.

Reaching the construction phase would not have been possible without the support and collaboration of our valued project partners and purchasers. We extend our sincere thanks to our joint venture partners, the Rubino family, our builder Hanssen Construction, Chang Architects, and all of our buyers for their trust and commitment throughout the journey so far.
